7.1.2 Other Oracle Database Products
For the supported Oracle Database products, you can choose a language, territory, and
character set from within BS2000/OSD by setting the value of the
ORAENV
variable
NLS_
LANG
. Set this environment variable as follows:
NLS_LANG = language_territory.characterset
Where,
language
is any supported language
territory
is any supported territory
characterset
is the character set required by your terminal
For example:
NLS_LANG=German_Germany.D8BS2000

Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2) for Fujitsu BS2000/OSD provides support for
language conventions, such as day and month names, for the following languages:
