Technical design
The program card contains the following functional units and the associated memory
blocks:

– Operating system for the BPS/NetBPS, or EcuBPS, saved in EPROMs at factory.
– The EEPROM for storing the manufacturing and configuration data.
– RAM blocks for storing the plant operating program, the operating dialog and the
message buffer.
– Interface for basic unit, in the form of a pin connection.
