The Vmin, Vmax, Y, DIR and TYP

values can be changed by using the “–”

or “+” button.The displayed value starts

blinking and can be stored during the

blink phase by pressing the “Set” button.

Confirm each input of value or read-

justment by pressing the “Set” button.

DIR can be set to either ‘L’ or ‘r’:

‘L’ means damper opens counterclockwise (rotates left)

‘r’ means damper opens clockwise (rotates right)

Siemens default setting: ‘r’

TYP can be set to either ‘con’ or ‘3P’:

‘con’ means GLB/GDB/ASV181.1E/3 is in the VAV

Controller mode.

‘3P’ means GLB/GDB/ASV181.1E/3 functions as a

separate 3 position damper actuator and differential

pressure sensor.

Siemens default setting: ‘con’

Note for VAV compact controller of series A and B:

After changing TYP from ‘3P’ to ‘con’ (or vice versa), cut

power supply to the actuator for a short period of time,

enabling the change to become active

(cut G or G0 approx. 5 s).

Vn can be adjusted in the range of 1.00 ... 2.55

Siemens default setting: Vn = 1.00

Vn changing is restricted to OEMs.
