Installing the Migration Backplane
DANGER:
Shutting down the DPU/MPU Panel may not
disconnect all high voltage I/O.
If no means for disconnecting are available,
use the wire nuts supplied to protect exposed
terminals with voltage present.
WARNING:
This installation should only be done by a
qualified electrician or an authorized Siemens
Industry, Inc. representative.
1.
Mount the migration backplane (bar code label
at top) over the enclosure mounting studs using
two mounting nuts and a 7/16-inch
socket.
2. Mount transformers on backplane (if applicable)
3. Do not connect transformers to outlet at this
time.
