Deploying the Browser-Based FPWeb UI Client

Application Using Siemens Launch Pad

NOTICE

You must complete this procedure in order to access the FPWeb UI from Desigo®

CC™.

To install or upgrade the browser-based FPWeb UI using Siemens Launch Pad:

1. From the Tools menu, click Deploy FPWeb UI to Panel.

 The

FPWeb UI Deployment dialog box displays.

2. Under Select Languages, select the language(s) you want to deploy to the field

panel. The selected languages will be available in the browser-based FPWeb UI.

NOTE: To select a language in which to view Launch Pad, see the

Selecting

Languages in Launch Pad

[➙ 14] section.

NOTE: If the browser-based FPWeb UI was already deployed from a previous

revision, you must delete any unwanted language (.mo) files from the field panel

using the HMI.

3. In the Hostname/IP field, enter the name or the IP address of the Siemens Modular

or Compact 36 field panel to which you are deploying.

4. In the Username and Password fields, enter a valid user name and password.
