Adding another Application Shortcut Button to the Siemens Launch Pad

8. Click Open.

 The Icon Path field is populated with the file path.

) In the Description field, enter a description of the application to be added

to the shortcut button. Recommended characters limit is 35 characters.

Example: Type SystemOne Tool.

10. Click Add.

 The application shortcut button is added in alphabetical order on the Siemens

Launch Pad home page.

NOTE: The shortcut button information cannot be edited. To change the name,

files paths, or description, you must delete the shortcut button and create a

new one.

Deleting an Application Shortcut Button

To delete an added application shortcut button, right-click the button in the

Siemens Launch Pad, and click

Delete.

NOTE:

When an application shortcut button is selected from the Siemens Launch Pad home

page, the application is launched in its own window.

WCIS Application Shortcut Button

The WCIS shortcut button is only added if WCIS has been installed under the same

parent directory as Launch Pad.

NOTE:

You have the option to delete the WCIS shortcut button at any time as well as adding

another shortcut button to start a different installation of WCIS on your system.
