Deploying the Application MC using the
Siemens Launch Pad
To install or upgrade the Application MC using the Siemens Launch Pad:
1. From the Tools menu, select Deploy Application MC to Panel.
The Application MC Deployment dialog box displays.
2. In the Hostname/IP field, enter the name or the IP address of the panel which has
a connected USB drive to which you are deploying.
3. In the Username and Password fields, enter a valid user name and password.
4. In the Select Applications list, select any applications for which you want to view
graphics after Application MC is deployed. It is recommended that you select only
the necessary applications, because as the number of applications selected
increases, so will the deployment time.
NOTE: You can re-deploy Application MC in order to add more applications. The
existing applications will not be overwritten.
5. Click Start.
The progress bar displays.
