Use sturdy packaging when transporting to the installation site.
DANGER
Hovering load!
Risk of death or serious injury.
● Do NOT stand below hovering load.
● Attach ropes or hooks for lifting by hoist only to the housing and NOT to the
handwheel.
● Actuators mounted on valves: Attach ropes or hooks for lifting by hoist to the
valve and NOT to the actuator.
● Actuators mounted to gearboxes: Attach ropes or hooks for lifting by hoist only to
the gearbox using eyebolts and NOT to the actuator.
● Actuators mounted to controls: Attach ropes or hooks for lifting by hoist only to
the actuator and NOT to the controls.
● Note the total combined weight (actuator, actuator controls, gearbox, valve).
● Secure the load from falling, sliding or tilting.
● Perform a lift trial at a low height to eliminate any potential danger, for example,
by tilting.
