OSM-TX

Server PC as the basis for a multi-user system in SICLIMAT X for operation and

display.

Application

The OSM-TX 150 S4 consists of the hardware only. The SICLIMAT X software is

optional.

It communicates with the connected SIMATIC S7 automation stations via the Industrial

Ethernet system bus. The E/P link is required for connection of SIMATIC S7 via the

PROFIBUS.

If the OSM-TX 150 S4 server is used to replace an existing computer (e.g. for service

purposes), an S5 link is required (to accommodate the ISA modules).

Features In design terms, the main control unit is based on a modern server PC. The mini-tower incorporates spare PCI slots for quick-installation I/O cards, and a builtin graphics processor. The Pentium 4 processor has a clock speed of 3.4 GHz and 2 GB RAM. The SCSI hard disk has hotplug capability and a capacity of 73 GB. A maximum of 4 hard disks can be plugged in at RAID level 5.
