Step 1 On your desktop, right click on the My Network Places icon.
Step 2 The Network and Dial-up Connections window should appear. Right click on the
Local Area Connection icon.
Step 3 From the menu, select Properties.
Step 4 The Local Area Connection Properties dialog should appear. From the list of
components, select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
