Summation current transformers
The 3UL22 summation current transformer can be used together with the 3UG4624 residual
current monitoring relay to acquire residual currents in machines and plants.
These necessary accessories are described in Chapter "Summation current transformer for
the 3UG4624 monitoring relay (Page 320)."

Note
Difference between Hyst and Hysteresis
In the following diagrams, the term "Hyst" refers to the "Hysteresis" parameter. The
"Hysteresis" parameter refers to the monitored thresholds and can be set.
The term "Hyst = 5 %," on the other hand, refers to the warning thresholds and is
permanently set to 5 %.
