Tool Kit for Thermostat Calibration

Description

This kit provides the special tools required to calibrate the TH 180, TH 182, TH 188,

TH 192, TH 832 thermostats. The kit contains all the items listed in Table 1.

Cover Screw And

Calibration Wrench

The cover screw and calibration wrench has a 1/16-inch (1.6 mm) hex allen wrench and

a 1/8-inch (3.2 mm) open end wrench. The allen wrench is used to loosen the cover

screws on the TH 180, TH 182, and TH 192 thermostats, allowing the thermostat cover

to be removed. The open end wrench is used to adjust the calibration screw on the TH

192 thermostats.

Nozzle Wrench

The nozzle wrench shown in Figure 2 is used to make adjustments on the TH 180,

TH 182, and TH 188 thermostats. The flat 5/32-inch (4 mm) open end wrench is used to

adjust the nozzle. The rolled edge 5/32-inch (4 mm) open end wrench is used to turn

the changeover adjustment nut.

A gauge is added to the pressure tap needle to read the control pressure. Figure 3. Pressure Tap Needle. "D" Adjustment Key The "D" adjustment key is used to loosen the triangle head cover screws and turn the square head calibration adjustment screw on the TH 832 thermostats. Figure 4. D Adjustment Key.
