Reset to factory setting
Press the programming pin (>20 s). The device is locked and reboots within 10 seconds. The
room automation station removes it from its device list. During this time, the device can
safely be removed from the network.
NOTICE! The LED is off during this procedure.
If the bus plug remains connected, the device acts like a newly inserted device requiring
automated or manual configuration.
NOTICE
This operation resets all user

defined data and configuration settings to factory default.
This operation is irreversible.
Operation
The button response is defined as follows:
● Pressing a button: 0.05 s ≤ t ≤ 1 s
● Extended pressure: 3 s ≤ t ≤ 5 s
● Constant pressure: 7 s ≤ t
● Button combination: Press multiple buttons simultaneously
Maintenance
The device can be cleaned with commercial, solvent-free cleaning agents.
Do not use mechanical aids (rough sponge or similar materials) – only a soft, damp cloth.
Disposal
The device is considered an electronics device for disposal in terms of European
Directive 2012/19/EU and may not be disposed of as domestic garbage.
● Dispose of the device through channels provided for this purpose.
● Comply with all local and currently applicable laws and regulations.
Warranty
Technical data on specific applications is valid only together with Siemens products listed in
"Equipment combinations". Siemens rejects any and all warranties in the event that third-
party products are used.
