Saving an Access Code
On some networks it may be necessary to add a prefix,
such as “9”, before the telephone numbers for external
calls.
MENU Press Menu.

Switching To Temporary Tone Dialing
If your network operates with pulse dialing but tone di-
aling (DTMF) is required (for example, to check the
mailbox), you must switch to tone dialing (DTMF) dur-
ing the call.
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call!
MENU Press Menu.

Scroll to Tone Dialing and confirm – tone dialing is now
activated.
● When storing numbers in the directory (see
page 29) you must enter the prefix.
For example: 9 555 2222.
● The code that you store here is always inser-
ted and dialed automatically before the tele-
phone numbers in the caller list and the emer-
gency numbers.
