Setting up a new Telnet Access Password via the controller’s user interface
To set up a new Telnet Access Password:
1. From the main menu, click Wireless AP Configuration. The Wireless AP
Configuration screen appears.
2. From the left pane, click AP Registration. The Wireless AP Registration
screen appears.
3. Under the Telnet Access section, type the new password in the Password
box.
4. Retype the password in the Confirm Password box.
5. Click Save.
4.2 Discovery and registration overview
When the Wireless AP is powered on, it automatically begins a discovery process
to determine its own IP address and the IP address of the HiPath Wireless
Controller. When the discovery process is successful, the Wireless AP registers
with the HiPath Wireless Controller.
