3.2.4 Setting up the data ports
The next step in the initial setup of the HiPath Wireless Controller is to configure
the physical data ports.
A new HiPath Wireless Controller is shipped from the factory with all its data ports
set up as host ports. Support of management traffic is disabled on all data ports.
Port configuration allows for the explicit state of the administration state for each
interface. By default, data interface states will be disabled. You can then enable
each of the data interfaces individually. A disabled interface does not allow data
to flow (receive/transmit).
