3. Select Local, and then click the image file you want to upgrade to from the

4. If applicable, backup the current system image:
• To save the backup image locally, select the Flash option, and then type
a file name for the backup image in the Filename box. The filename must
end with the .tgz extension.
Note: If you are performing an upgrade on a HiPath Wireless Controller
C20, the Flash option is not available. Instead, to save the backup image
locally, select the Local option. The Filename box is populated with the
automatically generated file name for the backup image. You cannot edit
the file name of the backup image file.
• To save the backup image on a remote FTP server, select the Remote
option, and then type the following:
•FTP Server – The IP address of the FTP server that will store the
image file.
•User ID – The user ID used to log in to the FTP server.
• Password – The corresponding password for the user ID.
