Quick Start: local
1. Quick Start
1.1. Quick Start Wizard
a) Point the programmer at the display from a maximum distance of 300 mm (1 ft) and
press RIGHT arrow to activate PROGRAM mode and open menu level 1.
b) Press RIGHT arrow twice, to navigate to menu item 1.1
and open the Quick Start Wizard.
c) At each step, press DOWN arrow to accept default
values and move directly to the next item,
or RIGHT arrow to open Edit mode: the current
selection is highlighted.
d) Scroll to desired item and press RIGHT arrow to store the change, then press
DOWN arrow to continue.
e) At any time you can press UP arrow to go back, or LEFT arrow to cancel
and return to Measurement mode.
Vessel
Select vessel construction material .
• Selecting either STEEL or CONCRETE
does a functional reset (see Master
Reset (4.1.) on page 110).
• Selecting STEEL changes the setting
for Position Detect (2.4.5.2.) to Rising
Edge, and for Algorithm (2.4.5.1.) to F.
• Selecting CONCRETE changes the setting for Position Detect (2.4.5.2.) to Rising Edge
and for Algorithm (2.4.5.1.) to ALF.
Response Rate
Use a setting just faster than the maximum filling or emptying rate (whichever is greater).
