Parameters
3. Diagnostics
3.1. Fault Reset
Clears the following fault (known as Acknowledge Fault in PDM.)
To clear a fault using the handheld programmer:
• Enter the fault code number then press RIGHT Arrow.
To clear a fault via SIMATIC PDM:
• Open the menu View – Device Status and click on Maintenance tab.
Click on Acknowledge Warnings in the applicable box to clear the fault.
Clearing a fault in one parameter of a "maintenance pair" automatically clears a fault
in the second parameter of the pair. For example, entering S3 or S4 will clear a fault
on Device (Maintenance Required), and on Device (Maintenance Demanded). This
applies when clearing faults via the handheld programmer or 375 Field
Communicator.
3.2. Echo Profile
Allows you to request the current echo profile either locally via the handheld
programmer, or remotely via SIMATIC PDM, or AMS Device Manager. (For more
detail see Echo Processing on page 123.)
To request a profile via SIMATIC PDM open the menu Device – Echo Profile Utilities.
To request a profile via the handheld programmer:
a) In PROGRAM mode, navigate to LEVEL METER > DIAGNOSTICS (3) > ECHO
PROFILE (3.2)
b) Press RIGHT arrow to request a profile.
(For more detail see
Requesting an Echo Profile
on page 35.)
