Many linear motion sequences in modern in-
dustrial installations are pneumatically driv-
en via piston rod cylinders. Accurate position
determination of cylinder pistons is crucial to
system control. In this fi eld, SICK offers plen-
ty of sensors, of course with matching mount-
ing systems, to fi x these sensors safely to the
housing of the different piston rod cylinders.
