Step 2：Apply sealant to the threads of the tank meter.
Use a brush to apply sealant to the threads of the tank meter.
For outdoor installations, PTFE tape or other white sealing caps must be
used to prevent the ingress of moisture. The expect oil level and
consumption readings will vary as the temperature changes.
Note: Most tanks have 2" NPT fittings on top. For tanks with 1.5" fittings,
an adapter is required, this adapter which needs to be purchased by
yourself.
