Placing a Call on Hold:
You can place a call on hold using the Call Manager when you need to check some
information or answer another call. The call appears in the Active Call list. The call
status displays Connected and the Connected icon appears.
Double-click the call in the Active Call list to place it on hold. The call status changes to
On Hold and the On Hold icon appears.
To take a call off hold, double-click the call on hold in the Active Call list or pick up the
receiver. You can also click the Hold button again to take the call off hold.
When you place a caller on hold and hang up, the telephone rings once after 10
seconds notifying you that a call is on hold. If the first recall is ignored, the phone rings
on a 60-second interval until the holding party either is connected or hangs up.
