Blocking and Caller ID *67 + ext.
When a user places an
external call, they can block
their Caller ID using the “*67”
command. The user dials the
trunk access code, followed by
*67, followed by the external
number.
When dialing in this manner,
the call will be considered
“non-routable” and will only
access trunks at the local site.
The number is dialed “as is”
(i.e. as if a user dialed it). No
digit manipulation will be
performed.
Unblocking Caller ID *82 + ext.
When a user places an
external call, they can unblock
their Caller ID delivering using
the “*82” command. The user
dials the trunk access code,
followed by *82, followed by
the external number.
When dialing in this manner,
the call will be considered
“non-routable” and will only
access trunks at the local site.
The number is dialed “as is”
(i.e. as if a user dialed it). No
digit manipulation will be
performed.
