7. Specify the Formula Type.
This ensures that the correct internal operators are used to format the formula, so that you get the
expected result.
8. Click Verify to test that the formula is valid.
9. Click Save to save the formula field under its current name.
If you want to save the formula field under a different name, click Save As.
To include the new formula field in the template, you must add the field as explained in Adding and
Deleting Data Fields on page 35.
Rearranging Data Fields
To rearrange data fields, open a template, select the title of the field you want to move, and then drag
the field to a new position.
Adjusting the Width of a Field
To adjust the width of a field, open a template, select the title of the field you want to narrow or widen,
and then use the cross-arrow cursor to drag the field line to the required width.
Filtering Fields
To limit the data displayed in a template or report according to a certain criteria, filter the fields that
appear in the template or report.
Complete the following steps to filter the fields:
1. Click Tools > Filter > Change.
2. In Column, choose the field for the filter criteria.
3. Use the appropriate fields to select the operator and value to complete the condition.
4. If more conditions are required, add an additional condition line to the filter by clicking Add and
choosing a logical operator from the Logical drop-down menu.
5. To delete one of the conditions, click the condition and click Delete.
6. Click OK.
To remove a filter from a template or report, click Tools > Filter > Clear.
Sorting Fields
You can arrange data in a template or report according to a particular criteria. To do so, you sort the
fields that appear in the template or report.
