Complete the following steps to delete a data field:
1. In an open template, right-click on the title of the field you want to remove from the template.
2. From the menu, choose Delete Column.
Complete the following steps to add a data field:
1. In an open template, right-click the field title area and select Add Column.
2. In the Add New Column window, select the field you want to add. You may need to scroll down to
see the full list of available fields.
A description of the selected field is shown in the Description area of the window. This description
can help you determine if the selected field is the one you want to add to the template.
If you want to find a specific field, click Quick Search. In the resulting field, enter a data field
name.
3. Click Add Column.
Creating a Formula Field
If the default formula fields available for the template do not provide the information you need, you can
create additional formula fields.
Complete the following steps to create a formula field:
1. In an open template, click Tools > Formulas Editor.
2. Click New.
3. Enter the Name of the new formula field.
4. In Description, describe the purpose of the new field.
This description is displayed when you select the field in the Add New Column window and in the
tool tip for the field.
5. In Entity, select the entity for the formula.
The list of available fields is based on the selected entity.
6. Define the field’s Formula. A formula is a combination of predefined statistical data that appear in
existing fields.
The Specify Formula window provides options to make it easy for you to define a formula. Select
the field data for the formula from the Column list, which is categorized by entity. Use the
mathematical operators to specify the action to be taken.
Tip
The Formula Editor window contains a list of existing formula fields. You can use this window to
edit or delete formula fields as well as create new ones.
