To filter the list of templates, select the Public check box, the Private check box, or both check boxes
to display the appropriate templates.
Opening a Predefined Template
You open the predefined template that you want to base your report on.
Predefined templates provided by Enterprise Contact Center Reports are organized by entity. Entities
are administrative objects in the ShoreTel system, upon which system operations are based. For
example, agents, groups, super groups, and trunks.
Refer to Starting the Supervisor Applications on page 11 for information about the predefined
templates provided by Enterprise Contact Center Reports and for hints about choosing the correct
template to base your report on.
Complete the following steps to open a predefined template:
1. From the Open window, select the template you want to base your report on. You may need to
scroll down to see the entire list of available templates.
2. If you want to customize the template, click OK.
To generate the report, click Generate.
If you have not previously specified the template parameters, use the Parameters window to define the
parameters as explained in Specifying Template Parameters on page 33.
To print the report, click Print.

Specifying Template Parameters
In addition to data fields, templates contain parameters. A parameter defines the reporting criteria,
specifically the report’s entities, date range, time range, and interval (where applicable). You must
specify a template’s parameters before the report can be generated.
Complete the following steps to specify a template parameters:
1. In an open template, right-click in the parameters area and choose Parameters.
You can also click on the Report Parameters icon.
2. Initiate the definition of the report entities by clicking on the ellipses button in the upper-left corner
of the Parameters window. In the Choose <Entity> window, add the entities that you want to be the
basis of the report by moving them from the Available field to the Selected field.
