To view messages in the Agent Board, click Agent Board on the Agent Toolbar.
Other Operations
Agent Toolbar’s other features allow you to setup and run external applications from within Contact
Center and to create a visual separation between buttons on the Agent Toolbar.
To increase your efficiency and productivity, display the appropriate Other buttons on the Agent
Toolbar. Refer to Chapter 3. Customizing Agent Toolbar for information about adding and removing
buttons.
Execute App (1) — Launches an external application in Contact Center.
Separator (2) — Creates a visual separation between buttons on the Agent Toolbar.
Running an External Application
Information on an external application is not saved in the system when Agent Toolbar closes. The
following procedure must be repeated each time you want to run an external application from within
Contact Center.
Complete the following steps to run an external application:
1. From the Agent Toolbar, click Run.
2. In the Program field, click the ellipsis ().
3. Locate and select the application you want to run.
4. If required by the selected application, specify the Working Directory. You can click the ellipsis
() to locate and select the directory.
5. If required by the selected application, enter command-line parameters in the Parameters field.
6. Click OK.
Separating Buttons on the Agent Toolbar
The Separator button creates a visual separation between buttons on the Agent Toolbar.
Complete the following steps to separate buttons on the Agent Toolbar:
1. From the Agent Toolbar, click Agent Setup.
2. In the Category area, select Other.
3. Drag and drop the Separator button to the appropriate position on the Agent Toolbar.
