Managing Home Locations
A home location consists of information about a user’s Wi-Fi network, as well as cellular network
information. This information allows you to know their location if they are connected to the Wi-Fi
network associated with the home location.
You can create home locations for users. You need only know the SSID of a user’s Wi-Fi network.
When the user’s mobile device connects to the Wi-Fi network associated with the home location, the
ShoreTel Mobility Client sends all the home and cellular network information to the Mobility Router.
