Troubleshooting Viewing Phone Information

Problem: Handset Displays “Deregistered.”
Solution: Your handset has become deregistered. Contact your system administrator to have your
handset re-registered.
Problem: Handset displays “Searching.”
Solution: The handset is out of range of coverage or a component in the infrastructure has failed. For
the latter, contact your system administrator.
Viewing Phone Information
To view information about your phone, such as IP address, subnet mask, version, and MAC address,
follow these steps:
1. With the phone on hook, press the Mute button.
2. Dial I-N-F-O (4636) on the keypad and then press #.
Note
The re-register function in the Settings Menu under the Connection menu item will not work unless
your administrator enables registration.

Viewing phone information as described in this topic should be done only at the direction of your
system administrator.
