Getting Ready
Before removing the microSD memory card, turn the product off and
remove the battery pack.
A Push slowly the microSD memory card into the slot
until it clicks.
After it clicks, pull back your finger without releasing it from the
microSD memory card until it comes out a little. Releasing your finger
from the microSD memory card when it is pushed deeply into the slot
may cause it to pop out.
B Remove slowly the microSD memory card.
Pull slowly the microSD memory card straight out.
Some microSD memory cards cannot be unlocked and do not come
out smoothly. In such case, pull it out lightly with your finger.
C Attach the battery pack and the battery cover.
When you purchase the product, the battery pack is not fully charged.
Be sure to charge the battery pack before use.
The usage times are as follows.
* These times are based on the case when the product is used in Japan. For details on the usage
time overseas, refer to “Main Specifications” (zP.68).
Removing the microSD Memory Card

◎ Do not remove the microSD memory card forcefully. Doing so may result in
damage to the microSD memory card or the product or data loss.
◎ Applications installed to a microSD memory card cannot be used once you
removed the microSD memory card.
◎ The microSD memory card may become warm after a long time use, but
this is not a fault.

◎ The product and the battery pack may become warm during charging, but
this is not a fault.
◎ Charging the battery pack while using the camera function etc. may
lengthen the charging time.
◎ If you perform various operations with a specified charger (sold separately)
connected to the product, charging/electric discharge may take place
repeatedly in a short time. Frequently charging the battery pack shortens
its service life.
◎ If the charging/incoming indicator flashes in red, check whether the battery
pack is properly attached, an external device is properly connected to the
product, etc. If the indicator flashes even after you have checked that, stop
charging the battery pack and contact an au shop or Secure cell phone
support center.
◎ Properly close the external connection jack cover. Also, do not pull it
forcibly or twist it.
