Getting Ready
■ Handling Precautions
• Do not turn off the product or subject it to impact while microSD
memory card data is being accessed. Doing so creates the risk of
data corruption.
• The following microSD memory cards have been confirmed for
operation based on the criteria by the Company. For operation
confirmation results of other microSD memory cards, contact each
microSD memory card manufacturer.
* Note that the provided information is the information checked for operation. The Company
shall not guarantee all operations to you.

* 4 GB or more are for microSDHC memory card.
* Operation is confirmed for microSD memory cards that are sold as of June 2012. For the
latest information on operation confirmation, visit the au homepage or contact the Customer
Service Center.
Before attaching a microSD memory card, turn the product off and
remove the battery pack.
A Confirm the direction of the microSD memory card
and insert it slowly in the direction of the arrow until it
clicks.
Insert a microSD memory card until you hear a click and confirm it is
locked. Releasing the microSD memory card before it is locked may
cause it to pop out.
B Attach the battery pack and the battery cover.

◎ The maximum file size available on a microSD memory card is 2 GB per file
when saving data to a microSD memory card.
◎ A microSD memory card initialized on other devices may not work on the
product properly. On the home screen, tap [ ] [[Settings] [[Settings]
[[microSD & phone storage] [[Erase microSD] [[Erase SD card]
[Unlock [[Erase everything] to initialize the microSD memory card.
◎ To play/display data on the microSD memory card, on the home screen,
tap [ ] [[Tools] [[Contents Manager] and use Contents Manager.
◎ Some copyright protected data may not be played on the product even if
they can be moved/copied from a PC etc. to a microSD memory card
successfully.

Attaching a microSD Memory Card

◎ Make sure that the top and bottom of the microSD memory card are facing
correctly.
Trying to force a wrongly oriented card into the slot could make it
impossible to remove the card and result in damage.
◎ Do not touch the terminal part of a microSD memory card.
