(5) Alarm/Time signal setting mode
Alarm/Time signal setting mode is available for the currently selected program pattern
number.
Settings are available only for the pattern which is now running during program control.
Note: To go to the Alarm/Time signal setting mode, select an alarm type except for
No alarm action from Alarm 1 (A1) and Alarm 2 (A2) type selection in “5. Setup”,
or select Time signal output from Event output function selection.
If either of the above is not selected, the controller cannot proceed to the
Alarm/Time signal setting mode.
[Program standby mode or Program control run mode]
Press the Key for 3 seconds.
Alarm/Time signal setting mode is selected,
and Pattern 1 Alarm 1 (A1) value setting item
(for 3 sec) appears.

Pattern 1 Alarm 1 (A1) value
Setting the value to 0 or 0.0 disables the function
(except process high, low alarm).
Not available if No alarm action is selected
during Alarm 1 (A1) type selection.
Setting range: Refer to (Table 6.2-2) below.

• For input with a decimal point, the negative low limit value is -199.9 and the positive
high limit value is 999.9.
For DC input, the input span is the same as the scaling span, and input range low (or
high) limit value is the same as the scaling low (or high) limit value.
Pattern 1 Alarm 2 (A2) value
Setting the value to 0 or 0.0 disables the function
(except process high, low alarm).
Not available if No alarm action is selected
during Alarm 2 (A2) type selection, or if P24
(option) is added.
Setting range: Refer to (Table 6.2-2).
