External operation function
Program control run/stop can be performed externally. See (Fig. 4.1-3) and (Fig. 4.1-4).
• External operation input terminals
External operation comprises 2 input types as follows.
Open collector input Contact (pulse) input

• Program control run
As soon as terminals 14 and 17 change from Open to Closed, program control is performed.
• Program control stop
As soon as terminals 14 and 17 change from Closed to Open, program control stops.
If pattern end output is turned ON after program control ends, pattern end output stops
by changing terminals 14 and 17 from Closed to Open.

4.2 Wiring examples
[PCD-33A-R/M]
* For the relay contact output type (PCD-33A-R/M), it is recommended that
a surge absorber be installed between the electromagnetic switch coils to
prevent the unit from harmful effects of unexpected high level noise.
