1. Make sure that the SIM card is inserted into the device.

2. Power ON the device.

3. Configure the APN address - In Windows Mobile 6, the "Extra

dial-string modem commands" box has been removed, making it

difficult to add a modem string to send to the GPRS module. We could,

however, configure this using two (2) methods:

1) METHOD #1 – The following work-around involves editing the

registry on your device, and you do so at your own risk!

① Install a registry editor.

② Edit the following part of the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Unimodem\Init

③ Add a new string to that part of the registry using

[Edit] > [New] > [Stringvalue]

④ Carefully enter the string you want to send to your mobile,

as per the screenshot below,

e.g: AT+CGDCONT =1,"IP","<apn.address>“

to have <cr> at the

end of it to work.
