The “Instructions and Utilities” CD that came with your computer or driver box contains
a “Frequently Asked Questions” file called CNCfaq.pdf. An up-to-date version is also
available on the Sherline website at www.sherline.com/CNCfaq.htm . This page will
answer many of the questions a new user might have about Linux, EMC, g-code and
other aspects of CNC. General machining questions are addressed at
