Sending a text message
Enter the mobile phone number of the recipient on the To bar
or touch to add recipients. Touch the Text message bar to
enter the text of the message. When you’ve finished, touch
to send the text message.
An SMS of more than 160 characters will be charged as
several SMS. Specific letters (like accents) will also
increase the size of the SMS. This may cause multiple
SMS to be sent to your recipient.
Sending a multimedia message
MMS enables you to send video clips, images, photos, animations,
and audio to other compatible phones and e-mail addresses.
An SMS will be converted to MMS automatically when media
files (image, video, audio, etc.) are attached or email addresses
are added.
To send a multimedia message, enter the recipient’s phone
number in the To bar, touch Text message bar to enter the text
of the message. touch to open attachment options, select a
picture, the location, an audio file or contacts that you want to
add as attachments.
When finished, touch to send the multimedia message.
Attach options:
Touch to select an emoji as an attachment.
Touch to select a sticker.
View your Photos, Gallery, or File Manager to
select a picture as an attachment.
Touch and share your location.
Touch and hold the voice message recorder to
record a voice message.
4.1.2 Manage messages
When a new message comes, an icon will appear on status bar
as notification. Drag down the status bar to open the Notification
panel, touch the new message to open it. You can also access
Messages and touch the new message to open it.
Messages are displayed in conversational order.
To reply to a message, touch the current message to enter
message-composing screen, enter the text, and then touch .
Touch and hold a message in message details screen, the
following options will be available:
Touch to archive the current message.
Touch to delete the current message.
Touch to block the selected number. You
will not receive any calls or texts from this
number.

In message list screen, touch and select Settings.

Touch to change default SMS app.
Notifications
Touch the switch to turn on/off notifications for Messages.

Touch to choose the notification type for incoming messages.
• Advanced
Touch to set additional settings for Messages.
Hear outgoing message sounds
Touch the switch to enable/disable to hear message sounds
when you send a message.
