Messages
SMSisakindofnetworkservicethatcannotbe
used to send and receive short messages until you
applytothenetworkoperator.
Both SIM cards of the mobile phon e can send
andreceiveSMS.TheSMSissenttotheSMScenter
ofthenetworkandthensentby
thenetworktothe
target user (GSM user). If the user does not switch
on the mobile phone or the mobile phone cannot
receive the SMS (the memory is full), the network
will save the SMS temporarily. The duration of
storage depends on sender’s sett ings and network
serviceprovider.
With
thisfunction,themobil ephonecansend
and receive chain text messages, which may affect
the message fees. For more information, please
consulttheserviceprovider.
WhentheSMScapacityisfull,therewillbean
SMSiconflickeringonthestandbyinterface.Thefull
capacitycanaffectSMSreception.Delete
someSMS
tosolvetheproblem.

hearthealertsoundfromthemobilephone(ifsuch
alertfunctionissetasON)

Note:WhensendingSMSviatheSMSnetwork,the
mobi le phone display “Message sent”. It indicates
thattheSMShasbeensenttotheSMScenterinbox
set in the mobile phone but does not mean the
receiver has received the SMS. For more

Youcanwritemessageinthismenu.
Every SMS can contain 4 pages English characters;
TowriteSMS,press“Aa”keytoswitchinputmodes,
“sym”keytoselectSymbol;
press“Delkey”toclear
one character before the cursor, long press “Del
key” to delete all characters; press the end key to
back to the standby interface, press the up and
down direction key to choose characters, press
“select” keytoconfirm.
The mobile phone can send the chain SMS
more than characters (limit for common text
messages). If the SMS contains more than 160
English characters, then the SMS will be split into
2pcsormore.Youcaninsertimages,cartoons,rings
etcintoSMS.However,theSMSwillnotbereceived
anddisplayedunlessthe networkandthe
receiving
mobi lephonesupport.
You can enter the phone number or choose a
number from the phonebook to send the SMS. In
dual‐SIMstandbymode,youcanchoosetosendthe
