9.1DHCPSettings
The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is an
automatic configuration protocol used on IP networks. If you
enablethebuiltinDHCPserveronthisdevice,itwillautomatically
configure TCP/IP protocol settings for all DHCPClientenabled PCs
in your LAN (Namely, PCs are set to "Obtain an IP address
automatically" and "Obtain DNS serv
er address automatically"),
including IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS etc,
eliminatingtheneedformanualintervention.
¾ DHCP ServerEnable: Check or uncheck the box to enable or
disablethedevice’sDHCPserverfeature.
¾ Start IP: Enter the starting IP address for the DHCP server’s IP
assignment.
¾ End IP: Enter the ending IP address for the DHCP server’s IP
assignment.
