To go to your feed, tap the Google app icon or swipe right
on your device's home screen (this feature is only available
on certain devices).
What you can ask Google to do for you
With the Google app, you can speak to your device to search, get
directions, and create reminders. For example, say
“Ok Google, do
I need an umbrella tomorrow?” to see if there’s
rain in the
weather forecast.
To see other examples of what you can say “Ok Google” or tap the
microphone and ask "What can you do?"Most of these examples
work in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean,
Russian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Turn “Ok Google” on or off
You can start a search or task by saying “Ok Google.” To turn it off or
on, open Google app and touch Menu > Settings > Voice > OK
Google detection.
Screen search
In Android 9.0, Google app can also provide you with relevant
suggestions based on the content currently on your screen. This
feature is called Screen Search. Just tap and hold the Home button,
and Google app will show related cards that might be helpful.
For example, if a friend emails you about going to a new restaurant,
you can tap and hold to quickly see reviews, make a reservation, or
navigate to the restaurant in the card that appears.
