1. Thisisthemostcriticalstepandwilldeterminetheoverallperformanceofthe
boostersystem.
2. UsingthesamemethoddescribedinStep1,walkaroundtheoutsideofyourhome
andtestthesignalstrength.Determinewhereyouhavethestrongestsignal(the

nearestcelltower.Keepinmind,thesignalstrengthatgroundlev elmaybedifferent

buildings,etc.)thatblocktheincomingsignal.Inmos
tsituations,thestrongestsignal
isfoundabout15feetabovethegroundonthesideofyourhomefacingthenearest
celltower.

home.Thisisaprecautionagainstdamageandsafetyconcernscausedbylightning
strikestotheoutsideunit.
Inordertoachievethebestperformance,trytomaximizethedistancebetweenthe
insideandoutsideantenna.
Ensurethattheoutsideantennaispointedawayfromwhereyouplantoinstallthe
insideantenna.Selfoscillationmayoccuriftheoutsideantennaispointedoverthe
locationoftheinsideantenna.
