Security
• PIN protection: Select On or Off.
When you select On, you need
to enter the PIN code when you
switch on the phone.
The default PIN code is network
dependent on your service
provider. Please contact your
service operator for the PIN
information.
• Change PIN/PIN2: You can modify
the password for PIN, PIN2,
safeguard and phonelock.
• Safeguard: You can safeguard
important information such as
messages, contacts on your phone
by activating safeguard. You can
also change the safeguard
password.
• Change safeguard password: You
can modify the password for
PIN, PIN2, safeguard and
phonelock.
The default safeguard and
phonelock password is 1234.
Shortcuts Displays a list of shortcut features.
You can set a new shortcut key by
establishing a link between a certain
feature and a numeric or navigation
key. You can also change or delete
an existing shortcut key.
Default
storage
Set the default storage location:
Phone memory or Memory card for
different applications.
Memory
status
You can check the memory status of
Contacts, Messaging and My files. You
can also check the memory status of
Memory card if it is inserted.
Mainmenu
style
Select the browse style as List or
Grid.
Factory
settings
Restore your phone settings to the
default values.
