ESDprotection
EADS requires that the M680 GPRS Module's service points have sufficient ESD protection
(againststaticelectricity)whenservicingtheproduct.Anyproductwhich hasitscoversremoved
mustbehandledwithESDprotection.To replacethecovers,ESDprotectionmustbeapplied.All
electronicpartsoftheproduct
aresusceptibletoESD.
AllESD‐sensitivepartsmustbepackedinmetallizedprotectivebagsduringshippingandhandling
outsideanyESDProtectedArea(EPA).
Every repair actioninvolvingopening theproductorhandling theproductcomponentsmustbe
doneunderESDprotection.
ESD‐protected spare part packages MUST NOT be opened/closed
outside of an ESD Protected
Area.

As certified by the qualified laboratory, the product is in compliance with the essential
