8.5.2 Configuring the SpO
2
Waveform
1. In the Waveform field of the SpO
2
menu, select the options described in the fol-
lowing table.
2. Tap to exit the SpO
2
menu.

Measurement
8.6.1 Identifying SpO
2
Modules
To identify which SpO
2
module you are using, see the company logo on the SpO
2
module.
■ Masimo SpO
2
module: white, with a logo of Masimo SET.
■ Nonin SpO
2
module: blue, with a logo of Nonin.
8.6.2 Applying the Sensor
1. Select an appropriate sensor according to the module type, patient size, and
weight.
2. Remove colored nail polish from the application site.
3. Apply the sensor to the patient.
4. Connect the sensor to the SpO
2
module and the SpO
2
module to the TD60.
The SpO
2
measurement displays when the TD60 detects that a sensor is con-
nected to the patient.
Options Description Settings*
Speed Selects the SpO
2
pleth waveform speed. 6.25 mm/s, 12.5 mm/s, 25
mm/s
Display SIQ
(Masimo only)
Selects whether or nor to show the Signal
Indicator Quality (SIQ) in the SpO
2
waveform
area. The SIQ wave indicates the confidence
associated with the saturation measurement
and timing of the pulse. Higher pulse indicates a
better signal.
