10.2 Call Alert
Call Alert feature allows the caller radio to request the target radio to call back.
10.2.1 Receiving and Responding to Call Alert
1) When the radio received call alert, it will automatically reply if call alert decode is enabled.
The LCD shows “Call Alert…” , the alias or ID of caller radio.
The radio periodically sounds alert tone and orange LED is flashing.
2) Press 【PTT】key to respond to the caller radio or any other key to ignore the call alert.
10.2.2 Initiating Call Alert
1) Press in the home screen to enter the menu.
2) Select and enter “
contact ” menu.
Or you can press
in the home screen and directly enter “Contact” Menu.
3) Select and enter “Contact List” interface. Select the target private call contact.
4) Press OK key and enter the “Contact” interface.
5) Select “Call Alert” and confirm.
The LCD screen displays the alias or ID of the target radio and indicates that the radio is sending call alert;
the red LED glows.
6) Waiting for response from the target radio.
If the target radio succeeded to respond, the caller radio show “Call Alert Succeeded” on the screen, or it
shows “Call Alert Failed”.
