6. Fault analysis and handling
In this chapter, you will learn how to solve general hardware and software problems.
Your laptop has been fully tested before shipment and meets the specifications of the
system. However, incorrect operation or carelessness in the process of transportation will lead to
problems.
This chapter will provide reference and identification information for general hardware and
software problems that you may encounter.
When you encounter a problem, you can first try to follow the instructions in this chapter. If
the error situation persists, please contact the dealer for service information.
6.1 Sound problem.
There's no sound.
● Double-click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the taskbar to see if the speaker
volume has been turned off.
●Please press Fn+F4 to increase the volume.
●Most sound problems are related to software. If the previous sound of your laptop is normal,
the possible reason is that the software is not set up correctly.
Unable to record.
Double-click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the task block to see if the microphone
volume has been turned off.
1. Click [options] and select [Properties].
2. Select [record] and click the [OK] button.
3. After pressing the [OK] button, the recording volume console will pop up.
6.2 Problems with the hard drive
The hard drive is not working properly or unrecognized
● If you have just upgraded your hard disk, make sure that the hard disk interface is not loose
and the hard disk is placed correctly.You can unplug the connector, reset it firmly, and then
reboot it again.
● The new hard drive requires partition and reformatting.The operating system and the drivers
will also need to be reinstalled.
● Please check the hard drive indicator light.Hard drive lights should flash intermittently when
you access the files.
● The new hard drive may be broken.
● If your laptop has suffered static or impact you may have damaged your hard drive.
