3.4.6 Security setup
g SIM card lock:
You can configure the security options for your
mobile phone here to prevent your mobile phone or
SIM card against unauthorized use.
- PIN code:
The PIN code can prevent your SIM card
against unauthorized use.
- If the PIN code is closed, select Open to
activate your PIN code protection. When you
power on your mobile phone next time, it will
ask you to enter PIN code. If the PIN code is
already opened, select Close to deactivate
your PIN code protection. Select Change to
set a new PIN code. Follow the instructions
to enter your old PIN code, a new PIN code,
and re-enter the new PIN code in sequence.
Caution: if you enter a wrong PIN code for three
times in succession, your SIM card will be locked. In
this case, you need a PUK code to unlock your SIM
