If you enter an incorrect code for three times in
succession, your SIM card will be locked and your
phone will ask you to enter PUK 1 code. If you do not
know the PUK1 code, do not try. Instead, contact your
network service provider. See Security setup.
Note: your network service provider would set a
standard PIN1 (4 to 8 digits) for your SIM card. You
should change your personal password ASAP. For
details, refer to Security setup.
2.5.4 Unlock your phone
In order to prevent against unauthorized use, you
could set phone password to protect your security.
When this feature is checked, you must enter your
PIN1 code (assuming you have set the PIN code)
each time that your mobile phone is powered on in
order to unlock the SIM card, after which then you can
make or answer calls. You may clear up the phone
password (see Security setup). In this case, your
phone cannot be protected against unauthorized use.
n Enter your phone password. Clear up the
incorrect entry with right soft key, and press OK to
confirm. E.g. if your phone password is 1122, then
enter:
1 1 2 2
If you forget your phone password, you must
contact your dealer or local authorized service center
to unlock your phone password.
