42 Settings
NOTE
Once the SIM lock is switched on you can change the SIM PIN code.
Change the SIM PIN
1. Turn on the PIN lock (see previous section).
2. Press
d to Change PIN or Change PIN2 and press Select .
3. Enter the old PIN code, and then press
OK .
4. Enter the new PIN code and then press
OK .
5. Re-enter the new PIN code and press
OK to conrm.
6. Press o to return to standby.
Phone lock:
You can set the phone lock as
On or O . During the start-up process, if the lock is set to on,
the phone will prompt
Input phone password (Trials remain: 3) .
NOTE
The phone will automatically power o if you input the incorrect phone password 3 times
continuously.
Change the PIN password
The default phone password is 1122, you can change this in the menu.
1. Press
Menu , scroll d to Settings and press OK .
2. Scroll
d to Security settings and press OK .
3. Scroll
d to Phone security and press OK .
4. Scroll
d to Change password and press OK .
5. Using the keypad enter the old password and press
OK .
6. Enter the new password and press
OK .
7. Re-enter the new password and press
OK to save.
8. Press o to return to standby.
To turn the phone lock on / o
1. Press
Menu , scroll d to Settings and press OK .
2. Scroll
d to Security settings and press OK .
3. Scroll
d to Phone security and press OK .
4.
Phone lock is highlighted, press OK .
5. Type in the phone password and press
OK , if the phone lock was on this will turn the
lock o and visa versa.
