5.4.4 Delete a template
1. Press
Menu , scroll d to Messaging and press OK .
2. Scroll
u to SMS templates and press OK .

User dened is highlighted, press OK .
4. Scroll
d to the template you want to delete and press Options .

d to Delete and press Select .
6. Press
Ye s to delete or No to cancel.
7. Press o to return to standby.
5.5 SMS settings
5.5.1 Prole settings
The number of SIM proles is determined by the SIM. In the FW200L and you can set
dierent SMSC (short message service centre) addresses so that the phone sends
messages through a specied SMSC server.
1. Press
Menu , scroll d to Messaging and press OK .
2. Scroll
u to SMS settings and press OK .

SIM is highlighted, press Select .
4.
Prole settings is highlighted, press Select .
5. Scroll
u or d to Prole 1 or Prole 2 etc and press Options .

Activate is highlighted, press Select to activate or scroll d to Edit and press Select .
7. To edit the name, press
Clear to delete the current name and then using the keypad
enter the new name. Scroll
d to SMSC address , press Clear to delete the current
address and then using the keypad enter the new one. Press
Options and Select to
save.
8. Press o to return to standby.
5.5.2 Validity period
You can set the amount of time a message that fails to send is stored in the SMSC server.
You can choose between 1 hour / 6 hours / 12 hours / 1 day / 3 days / 1 week / Maximum
(indenitely).
1. Press
Menu , scroll d to Messaging and press OK .
2. Scroll
u to SMS settings and press OK .

SIM is highlighted, press Select .
4. Scroll
d to Validity period and scroll t or u to the period you require, press Save to
conrm.
5. Press o to return to standby.
