Reading Patient ID with the Device’s Camera
To read the patient ID with the built-in camera of the device, follow
the steps below:
1. Click the [ ] button to start scanning.
2. Use the device's camera to scan the linear barcode or QR code,
and enter the decoded content into the patient ID text box.
3. Enter other patient information manually.
4. Click the [OK] button to save the patient information.
Reading Patient ID with a Barcode Reader
To read the patient ID with the barcode reader, follow the steps
below:
1. Connect the barcode reader to the USB connector of the device.
2. Press down the button on the reader handle, and target the
reader to the barcode. Then the [Patient Info] menu pops up
with the patient ID entered.
Warning
After scanning, please check the scanning result to ensure that the correct
patient information is entered.
